Additional Services

Veterinary Specialist Referrals
Our experienced team of veterinarians and vet techs are able to provide a number of services at our clinic, ranging from routine wellness check-ups to advanced procedures and surgeries. Although we have the ability to handle most of your pet's medical and surgical needs, we occasionally refer our clients and their pets to a specialist when advanced training, equipment, or experience will be beneficial.

We make referral decisions because we want all of our patients to receive the highest standard of veterinary care. Please be assured that when we refer a patient to another hospital, we continue to stay involved with your pet's care by communicating with the specialist and providing any necessary follow-up care, rehabilitation, instructions, and special notes.

Puppy Training and Behavioral Counseling
Our available training classes are able to teach your newly impressionable puppy basic manners, encourage good behavior, increase socialization with people of all ages, all while helping you establish a strong and personal bond with your new companion.

If you're concerned about a certain aspect of your pet's behavior, please let us know. With advanced training, counter-conditioning, and other beneficial tools, we can modify your pet's aggressive or inappropriate behavior. Please contact us for a consultation and more information if you'd like to speak with an expert.

Boarding
We are happy to accommodate your pet with our boarding reservations so you don't have to worry about leaving your pet behind or relying on a friend or family member to care for them while you're away. If your pet has any special needs, we'll be happy to take care of them for you - please just let us know!

We provide clean bedding, food, and water bowls, but if you feel more comfortable bringing your own for your pet, then feel free to do so. We also allow you to bring any toys or personal items you think that your pet will feel more comfortable with. We will also administer any needed medication and follow any specific feeding regimen your pet may have. If you're interested, we can also provide grooming services.

Our veterinary technicians also regularly check on our boarded pets, as well as our kennel staff monitoring the area on a routine basis. If any medical emergency were to happen to your pet, rest assured that our staff will promptly begin the necessary treatment.

To keep all of our patients as healthy as possible, we require that the pets who are boarding with us to have current rabies and distemper vaccinations, along with other species-specific vaccinations. Vaccinations are also required to be given at least two weeks before boarding to ensure the safety of all of our patients. Please call us for more information if you have any questions.

Chemotherapy and Cancer Treatment
Treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery may be used to stop the spread of cancer in pets like dogs, cats, ferrets, and rabbits, where we'll be able to remove or destroy the cancer cells and tumors. Regular veterinary visits can help us keep track of what is normal for your pet in terms of weight, personality, and behavior, as well as detect anything suspicious that may be going on. Unfortunately, your routine visits may only require your pets to come to us once or twice a year, so we need your help! Please contact us right away if you notice any dramatic changes in your pet's physical appearance or behavior like lumps, bumps, sores, vomiting, diarrhea, changes in eating habits, dramatic mood spikes, and more.

Grief Counseling
We understand how extremely upsetting it can be to lose a pet. Letting go of a pet is never easy when you work to create a strong, loving bond with them

No matter if your loss is recent or you've been grieving for weeks, we're here to help you in any way possible. Please don't be afraid to contact us if you're grieving - we're here to help.
